![]() ![]() Do the math and that is four extra charges at your disposal. I was pleased with the four days of moderate use (2 hours daily) provided before recharging.įully powered, the charging case holds up to 32 hours. You can squeeze in a week’s worth of workouts and still have an hour or two left for casual listening. The Go Air Sport is right up there with them, generating up to 8 hours on a single charge. JLab Go Air Sport review: Battery life and charging caseīrand staples like the Epic Air Sport ANC (11 hours with ANC on) and Go Air Pop (8 hours) stand out as playtime leaders at their respective price points. Expect most of what’s transpiring around you to enter the soundscape, possibly disrupting workouts. The earbuds struggle to isolate external sound. Since the jury is still out on whether playing hours of sound on headphones can adjust the sound signature effectively, I advise sticking with the Signature EQ. You can download JLab’s audio burn-in tool from the App Store or Google Play. There is no companion app, nor any extra features outside of the EQs. These aren’t the greatest, but at least you’re given some type of sound customization, which is more than most sub-$30 models offer. Three EQs (Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost) are programmed into these buds. ![]() JLab’s sound profile attempts to do the same for highs, but it fails miserably. Audio has been slightly tuned to give mids more shine. JLab is known for their emphasized bass sound, and the Go Air Sport sticks to the sonic formula. The mics aren’t as intelligible as what you’ll find on the AirPods or inexpensive rivals like the Skullcandy Grind Fuel, but they’ll comprehend inquiries well enough for the AI bots to perform their magic. ![]() If you’re someone who loves using Siri, Google Assistant or Bixby for voice commands, then the Go Air Sport can serve good purpose. No motion detection for auto-pause/play when removing or placing the buds on your ears also hinders the user experience. Performing the same input method several times before the touch sensors recognize your intended command becomes frustrating. JLab gets an A for effort, but a C- for execution due to the buds’ poor touch detection. The controls are equally divided among the buds and assigned to different input methods (single/multiple tap and long hold). These commands include playback, call management, volume, digital assistance, and EQ activation. JLab does something that I’ve only seen higher-priced wireless earbuds do, which is program a full suite of media controls on the Go Air Sport. Supports the big three digital assistants.JLab Go Air Sport review: Controls and digital assistant We’re still waiting on JLab to confirm whether the case is water-resistant as well. The magnets are also strong to keep the buds locked in when charging. It won’t take up any space in your gym bag and is light at 1.5 ounces. Kyra Cooney-Cross (7): Had her best game of the tournament where her control in midfield defied her young age and was unlucky not to score from distance in the second half. The charging case is a bit long, but thin enough to fit snugly in your front shirt pocket. Hayley Raso (8): Two goals and constantly pushed the Canadian defence back with her threatening runs forward, while helping back in defence when needed. Provided constant width and looked to get forward at every opportunity while defending solidly.Īlanna Kennedy (6.5): Defended well in the centre of Australia's defence and used her experience to help guide the team from the back.Ĭlare Hunt (7): Immense again as she physically dominated in the heart of Australia's defence while being neat in possession.Įllie Carpenter (6): Looked to get forward when she could and was sound in defence after a nervous start.Įmily van Egmond (6.5): An unselfish role in Australia's midfield and looked to help press high when Canada were in possession. Steph Catley (8.5): Outstanding game as she scored from the spot and provided an assist for the first goal. ![]()
